Friday Favorites: Round 2, Week 1

Hard to believe that we’re already four days into 2019. It honestly feels like just yesterday that I was putting Friday Favorites on hold to write gift guides in preparation for Christmas. But the holidays are over, and we’re here for a brand new year.

This new year is going to be great because I have some really exciting professional endeavors that I’ll be sharing soon. I’m also excited because I have new goals for this year. Resolutions aren’t really my thing, but the start of the year feels like a great time to sit down and reassess goals.

One thing I’m super pumped about this year is that I’ve started teaching spin. If you were around last year, you know that I talked a lot about going after this, even though it scared me. And in the end, it paid off. This week I have already taught four classes!

I’m already getting prepared for the cold, slightly miserable days of January and February in Amsterdam. Luckily, Jon and I have a wedding in Florida at the end of the month. That sunshine is going to be majorly appreciated.

FRIDAY FAVORITES

I started watching this series on Netflix just a few days ago. I read the book a few years ago, and so far the series is just as good!

This lipstick has become my go-to after the 30 Days of Lipstick challenge.

There are so many good items in the Mango after-Christmas sale. I picked up this, this, and this.

I read this article recently and could not put it down. I’m a total sucker for true-crime.

The most fabulous velvet jumpsuit I wore for NYE. Currently on sale and definitely something you’ll get more than one use out of.

This is the last month that Henri Bendel is open. CRYING. But everything is on major sale. I waited on the regular black version of this bag, and it’s already gone! Might have to pull the trigger.

Jon and I are trying to give up our late night snacking and weekday drinking. We’ve been drinking this religiously before bed each night.

These amazing mittens that I ordered from the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale. I know I’ll get good use out of them over the next few months in Amsterdam.

I bought these boots as a Christmas present for myself and wore them in Switzerland. Think the comfort of Uggs, but way more chic. I’m obsessed.
