Happy Friday, friends! Has this week felt incredibly long to any of you? I swear it felt like Thursday when it was only Tuesday. I’m particularly excited for this weekend because Sunday I head to Florida for vacation. I’ll be meeting my mom and aunt in Orlando to do Disney and then heading to Ft. Lauderdale for a wedding. It’s unfortunately supposed to be rainy in Orlando, but we can expect sun in Ft. Lauderdale. I’m so excited to just sit outside and soak up that sunshine.
I’m also really excited to get away. To be honest, I had a really rough week. A meeting that I had in the beginning of the week didn’t go well. I was blindsided by some things, and it totally threw me off. And then of course I locked myself out of the apartment in the snow on the same day. So I really feel like this trip is coming at a good time. I need a moment to collect myself, and I’m just too busy while I’m here in Amsterdam to do that properly.
I did have a really great dinner last night with a friend who I haven’t seen in a while. I truly believe in the power of a good meal with a good friend. And it was worth it, I came home feeling really good.
